My name is Swan,
I have traveled an interesting road to get here, the job eventually chose me..
As a tattoo artist I think it's very important to make a design that fits you,
your character and your body.
My approach is to create a custom design just for you, based on ideas or inspiration you have.
To me tattoos are permanent jewelry, which should be cherished for life and be worn with pride.
My love for drawing and painting goes back to when I was just old enough to hold a pencil..
As a child i wanted to become an oceanologist, I was absolutely fascinated by the oceans and all that could live down there..
I still am, and you may find that in my designs.
Love for nature and drawing is the one thing that is a constant in my life. Drawing not only on paper but also on objects and myself.. That is where my dreams about getting tattood started.
In 2008 I graduated as a teacher in fine arts and design.
Still having a fascination for nature, photographing a lot in the woods and everywhere I went..
On that road, looking for a job, I met some people who gave me great learning opportunities such as silkscreen printing..
I also traveled quite a bit and have seen and learned a lot from different countries and cultures. It's wonderful to see how the world works far away from home.. I am very grateful for everything and everyone who got me to this point in life.
All I've learned and wanted got me here; all my interests combined; drawing, framing nature, looking for patterns and structure, educating people, working with and on people and doing yoga to relax and recharge..
My passion for dotwork also started when I was a kid.. the first time I went to an Aboriginal Art exposition with my parents and saw all the dotted paintings was the moment my love started..
To me it's almost meditative to tattoo in dotwork, there are so many options for a design in dots..
Next to dotworktattoos, either with machine or handpoke, I do fineline tattoos and colour tattoos as well, the possibilities are endless!
